Collection: Auditing
Existing students of the CAPS Sommelier Program, CAPS Graduates and CAPS-AC students that would like to do a course ‘refresh’ can audit any of the modules (excluding Sommelier Management) that make up the Certified Sommelier Atlantic Canada program. Please note that course audits do not include the final exam, and students will not receive a grade.
Payment to audit a course is paid as a flat rate, regardless of the number of individual classes audited within a course. Costs vary per course due to the number of classes within that course’s curriculum and include food and wine pairings associated with the course, where appropriate. Students must apply to the CAPS-AC Board of Directors for permission to audit a course 3 weeks in advance of the course commencement. The Board will notify students one week prior to the start date if space is available.
Auditing costs (costs below do not include HST):
Sensory Development and Wine Styles: $550
Old World Wines: $800
New World Wines: $800
Methods of Modern Winemaking: $400
Beer & Spirits: $400
